The NMMU Trust solicits funding for NMMU projects in line with Vision 2020, which is the vision and strategic plan for the university. It is also instrumental in fostering and maintaining relations with NMMU donors and is the point of entry for all fundraising initiatives at NMMU.
Composition of the Trust
The Trust comprises 16 trustees, eight appointed by the NMMU Council and eight independent members. Each member serves on the Trust for three years. The terms of office may be renewed or a replacement may be apointed if a member cannot continue with Trust activities.
